Krishna's Vishwaroop
कृष्ण
The great war of Mahabharata was about to begin. Both armies stood facing each other on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. When Arjuna saw his own grandfather Bhishma, teacher Drona, brothers, and relatives standing on the opposing side, his bow Gandiva slipped from his hands. He told Krishna that he did not want a kingdom won by killing his own people. Then Lord Krishna delivered the sacred teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. He explained the nature of duty, righteousness, and the soul. Krishna taught that the soul is eternal — it is never born and never dies. A warrior's duty is to fight, and standing against injustice is a sacred obligation. When Arjuna requested Krishna to reveal his true form, Krishna unveiled his Vishwaroop — his cosmic universal form. Arjuna witnessed the entire universe contained within Krishna's body — all gods, all creatures, all worlds, creation and destruction happening simultaneously. The vision was so magnificent and terrifying that Arjuna trembled. He folded his hands in reverence, praised Krishna's divine glory, and resolved to fulfill his duty as a warrior.
