Radha Krishna's Love

कृष्ण

The sweet melody of Krishna's flute echoed through the lanes of Vrindavan. Whenever Krishna played his flute, all the gopis would leave their work and rush to him. But the deepest love was Radha's. The bond between Radha and Krishna was so profound that people always spoke their names together — Radha-Krishna. Radha was older than Krishna and came from the village of Barsana. Whenever Krishna played his flute, Radha felt he was calling only her. They would meet by the banks of the Yamuna, wander through the groves of Vrindavan, and perform the divine Raas Leela together. Their love was not worldly but spiritual — the union of the soul with the divine. When Krishna had to leave for Mathura, Radha's heart shattered. But Krishna told her he would always live within her heart. He said that true love is never diminished by distance. Radha devoted her entire life to Krishna's memory. Their love was so sacred that even today, in every Krishna temple, Radha's name is spoken first. The love of Radha and Krishna is considered the highest example of selfless devotion and unconditional love.

Moral
